The driveway splits in two shortly after the entrance to the property. To the left, there is the higher road (used for parking during events). To the right, there is the lower road. That road is currently bare of vegetation, both above (between the higher road and the lower road) and below (between the lower road and the composting toilet flat).
This task is to make swales on the area _above_ this lower dam road.
To make swales in these areas, half-bury wood in many horizontal rows. This will help prevent erosion, keep carbon in the ground, host microbes and fungus, and slow/retain water in the area.
Wood could be obtained from the neighbour Mimi, if we have access to a chainsaw to cut it.
