### Kitchen cleaning checklist (Timotheos)
###### Minimum clean:

[] Put all dishes and everything away into cupboards
[] Remove all food residue or leftovers
[] Wipe down kitchen top of any crumbs and food residue
[] Wipe down all wet spots on the bench and sink
[] Sweep floor of any food residue or obvious dirt
###### Deep clean:

[] Mop floor thoroughly
[] Complete individual deep clean checklists per cupboard (list each cupboard - ensure all sub-checklists have been completed within the last month)
### Cupboard cleaning checklist
[] Pull all trays and items out
[] Eucalyptus spray and wipe insides of cupboards
[] Double-check insect-proof seal on cupboards is still intact: it should be very difficult for bugs to get inside
[] Eucalyptus spray and wipe each item (including opening lids and wiping the rim)
[] Check all items in cupboards are in-date and actually used
[] Set aside all items not regularly used for giving away
[] Check all item labels are clear
[] Check all item positions are well-systemised and clear
[] Return all items to their positions in the cupboard

###Cottage cleaning checklist ** (Elle's draft)**
###### Daily tasks that should be completed by everyone after they have finished using kitchen, bathroom or toilet:
[] Wash dishes
[] Put dishes away into cupboards
[] Remove food residue from sinks
[] Spray and wipe down kitchen bench of any crumbs and food residue and liquids (this includes getting underneath the bread box, toaster, kettle and drying rack)
[] Sweep kitchen floor of any food residue or obvious dirt
[] Spray and wipe stove after use
[] Spray and wipe microwave if you've made a mess in there
[] Wipe down bathroom sink if there is water or hair
[] Spray and wipe bath after having a bath
[] Check if pot plants' soil is moist and if it's very dry, water plants
[] Remove clutter from communal areas
[] Brush toilet clean of any excrement after use
###### Weekly deep clean:
[] Use robot vacuum or sweep. Use dustpan & brush or suction hose of a real vacuum to get into areas that robot vacuum can't reach. Vacuum behind furniture. Aim to remove dust from all floor surfaces.
[] Mop wood floor thoroughly using boiling hot water and a squirt of floor cleaner.
[] Use toilet cleaner and brush to scrub inside of toilet.
[] Wipe down all surfaces on toilet using spray and paper towel (flush button, top and bottom of lid, top of bottom of seat). Go in order from least gross areas to areas closest to the toilet bowl.
[] Spray and wipe down all tiles and glass inside shower cubicle using shower cleaner.
[] Spray and wipe down surfaces including all furniture with surfaces (dining table etc.) using surface cleaner.
[] Spray and wipe down inside of microwave using surface cleaner. Getting food gunk off can be made easier by microwaving a mug of water for a few minutes beforehand.
[] Tidy and organise deck (e.g. remove rubbish, arrange shoes neatly).
[] Remove any gross/off food from fridges.
[] Put tea towels, bathroom hand towels and any other towels onto wash and hang to dry. Ask residents if they want to put their towel in for this wash.
[] Hang up fresh tea towels in kitchen and hand towels in bathroom/loo areas.
[] Arrange for someone with a big car to take something to the dump or op-shop beyond the standard tip run.
###### Optional deep clean (choose 1 x optional per week to add to weekly clean):
[] Put bed linen from lounge bed on to wash and dry
[] Clean a cupboard (see cupboard cleaning checklist)
[] Clean oven
[] Use hot soapy water to clean out bins
[] Sweep deck
[] Rearrange and wipe food storage areas (spice area, communal food)
[] Tidy up inside fridge and spray and wipe all surfaces inside fridge
[] Clean out leaves from eaves of house
