Description:

The Sanctuary Fantasy Festival is an annual event run by Firestone Sanctuary for the enjoyment of the community.

Sleeping over

Keep record of who the Cottage guest bed / caravan has been offered to.

Preparation tasks:

Neighbours:

• Invite / text neighbours about event in case of noise concerns (or in case they think to bring back the cows)

Toilet:

• Composting toilet sink drainage fix
• Add coat hook(s) in composting toilet room
• Buy enough toilet paper
• Check hand-washing water is filled

Bonfire:

• Collect firewood (pallets near lower shed)
• Collect firewood (pallets near Peter's caravan)
• Collect firewood (pallets near Tara's tiny home)
• Collect firewood (Mimi's place?)
• Collect firewood (other)

Water:

• Grundfos tap might be sufficient for drinking water from the creek
• IBC clean-out and usage for drinking water?
• Do we need to bring the green 100L water tanks down?
• Check enough hose nearby to reach bonfire, for fire safety

Space, weather and seating:

• Fix Kane's marquee to use during event
• @Lara will bring her rain proof shelter and a large tarp
• Acquire / bring other marquees?
• Bring sufficient chairs back down to Lower Shed
• Mow any further areas that could be used for camping
• Finish Winter Plants for Wildlife planting and clean up tools in that area
• Check weather and post in the Facebook event about it

Rubbish:

• Set up recycle bin in Lower Shed (bring container from Upper Shed)
• Set up soft plastics bin in Lower Shed
• Set up compost bin in Lower Shed
• Set up landfill bin in Lower Shed
• Set up signs for the recycle, soft plastic, compost and landfill bins

Theme:

• General tidy-up of area
• Bring any medieval-looking rugs or cloth for over chairs
• Check if we have enough oil for 22 torches - no, cannot find any torch oil
• Buy more torches (Bunnings bamboo torches are very cheap, else permanent reusable metal ones) - ideally × 22 - @Lara will do this
• Buy oil for torches - @Lara will do this
• Organise music - @Tara will do this
• Prepare station for clay and crafts - bring down clay

Food and drink:

• Get all ingredients to make Sanctuary bread
• Kane is making sarsaparilla
• Kane might make bread?
• Buy food to share
• Buy mead

Signage:

• Signage for drinking water, with instructions
• Fix / add more entrance-way signage (now that driveway upgrade is complete)
• Make donation signage again
• Check parking signage is sufficient
• Signage about creek, warning loose rocks?
