Open, HighPublic

Description

Ian donated a chainsaw, but the chain needs tightening. Make sure the chain is tight and everything is working to use the chainsaw for chopping wood at Mimi's place.

The chainsaw was used to cut a tree branch to stop the earthmover who worked on the Lily Pad from breaking it accidentally as he was building that road towards the South-East.

The chainsaw appears to be working correctly :)

The chain has jumped off the chainsaw during operation. It was getting quite stretchy. It is likely time to purchase a new chain for the chainsaw. At the very least, it needs tightening up again.

I bought and installed a new 72-link chain. The chainsaw was working today, but it is running a bit oddly as if the carburettor is gummed up with oil (likely because I left the fuel sitting in the chainsaw). This may clean out by running the chainsaw more regularly.

The black plastic screw cap that keeps the air filter in place broke today.
The bar for holding the chainsaw is still broken, so should also be replaced for safety purposes.

We need to determine the model of chainsaw so that the replacement parts can possibly be ordered online.
