Agreed, although a third one might be useful for @Lara's hut, I guess we could deal with that when it happens.

@Timotheos - I believe this was destroyed due to exposure and was thrown out with the other ruined tents from the upper shed.
In light of my post/changes in the other Visitor's Shower job, I think this can be canned as we really only need one project task @Timotheos - will chuck it in to review for ya.
Considering how long the first one is lasting we'll probably only need to swap between the two. You can probably scrap this job if you want to de-clutter @Timotheos
@Timotheos - I am perfectly happy with the way the IBCs are at the moment and just very lightly chlorinating them occasionally instead. If in future other people want to regularly use those IBCs, we'll end up having to pump water from the creek - which is fine but whether they're covered or not will need be treated anyway. Additionally, the water is perfectly fine for washing and bathing and it's not difficult to bring drinking water in. Thoughts?
Hey @Timotheos. Seeings I've had nothing but issues with my gas hot water system and outdoor shower - if we're still wanting to construct a private shower for visitors I think it will be best to do something separate. Mine works for my needs but is extremely difficult and complicated to use. I constantly have to repair it and it's just not suitable for common use.

Done @Timotheos

this is done. There's a long enough hose for fire contol too
Sadly, since my original foray I have not been able to find any parties interested in removing the tank.
This will be done by the end of the weekend. I am also putting an outlet pipe on the original which may alleviate the condensation issue somewhat.
I am reasonably sure this is done now, @Dylan? :)
Do you think the rusted diesel tank is heavy? Would we need to angle grind it up into smaller pieces to remove it?

Actually @DylanReo, this task was for a safari tent that was not the same as the Friend Tent (which you removed). The safari tent wasn't holding up to the wind at the time, so it was packed up and moved to the Upper Shed, so hopefully its fabric is still good. We might be able to use it for something, or try setting it up again with a permanent frame.

Alas she was too fargone... Therefore I have moved this task over here.

It looks like I'll be welding a frame for this in my next free time :)

Should we create another task for planting some native grasses later down the track, then? :)
Great idea! I'm keen for that :)
Certainly. Near The Cottage, there's some paint tins, including outdoor paint and primer. Eventually, they should all be moved to the upper shed, probably. There may be enough cottage green for the this outhouse, I am not sure.
Great work! Sorry, I guess you've seen these now, but I had created T152: Create wheelie bin composting toilet for Tiny Village #2 and T153: Create wheelie bin composting toilet for Tiny Village #3 already :)

@Timotheos This is one thing that I'm still not sure about. Definitely more for just doing a permenent structure as that is actually easier. Only problem is where to put it now the tanks are down on the flat? The obvious place would be next to or near the tanks. But then if it's a permanent structure and I decide to shift, there will be a random shower structure on the flat which might be weird? I don't care about it being close to me and other's using it as that's convenient for me but might not be ideal for others?
I see so many people with half full paint around properties. If you have any leftovers could we possibly use that rather than purchasing new paint? Unless you have a specific colour in mind of course.
I was considering just cutting some timber to size and laying it over the top as they would make a good standing outdoor bar. I will fashion some 'rings' to place over the intakes to filter debris from the downpipes.
Have spoken to a plumber and solved the issue with the odd sized downpipes. Purchasing materials Monday and hopefully done by next Wednesday. Just in time for wet season.
Have purchased a pressure pump. Picking up fittings Monday. Hoping to have done by Wednesday next week.
