Have now shied away from companion planting around the trees beside the flat due to difficulty with upkeep and pests such as rats and pigs destroying any large leafed fruit like pumpkins. Perhaps it's better just left turned to lawn. @Timotheos

The lid can be done under T225: Create lid for blue anaerobic composter (maybe hinged). This anaerobic composter is sufficiently functional to close this issue :)

This bin has been made and appears to be working, but the blue lid needs to be found and then attached in a way that keeps the flap sealed.

Hey! Haven't had any issues whatsoever with any of the companion plants so far as I'm trying to pick things that animals will hopefully (mostly) steer clear of. But if I do have problems I'll cross that bridge. From what I've read chokos will make an awesome companion plant as it rambles along the ground and rodents and possums generally won't eat it! Defs will give it a crack. So far have pumpkins, zucchini, nasturtiums and several other small native grounds covers. Haven't had much luck with planting over by the toilets (except for nasturtiums) as it's too wet and shady. Will Have a look to see if I can find something suitable when I'm in town next. A native forest type ground cover like the one growing near my front door would look really nice.
No worries. I shall leave it for you

We have some chokos up at the Cottage that we could plant down there :) I'd definitely stake in some kind of guard to stop wildlife from digging the fruit up to start with, though!
I would like to handle this one :)

Actually, I've checked and this fallen tree is still there after the flooding. It's a very sizable tree, wedged in, and the water must have only gone underneath it.
I'm assuming there's not going to be any blockages left so I've moved this for review @Timotheos

Saw a family a couple of days ago run across the driveway. Up to you how you'd like to tackle it. My uncle is a professional hunter and would likely hunt them for free as he's into that. He has worked paid culling jobs before and doesn't live far away so it's a legit option. I'd be happy to have him stay at mine. Let me know if you'd like me to contact him.
@Timotheos - were is Aster?
I saw this in the shed. I think I have an SD card from a camera I no longer have. I was going to borrow it just to see what runs around on the flat at night. Will report back on SD card so don't go buying aything yet.
The wildlife camera is in the lower shed. It needs SD cards to operate.

Adam and @Emily helped clean up the grass and put it in a bucket to be used for the Event Outhouse (Privy) made for T121: Create drop toilet wooden outhouse for event.

We have folded back the overhanging grass now, which is sufficient for the event :)

I cut the majority of the grass in the area with the ride-on mower, but I think it's best to come back with the scythe and clean up overhanging grass so it doesn't whack cars driving through.
This was completed during T109: Create Lily Pad using earthworks.
